We Are Excited to Meet You

After you have walked through an opened door and have been greeted with a warm smile and a kind word by a member of our hospitality team.  Our members will be ready to answer any questions you may have and to acquaint you with the logistics of our campus.  From there, you’ll be greeted by a passionate group of people, who make up the NLC family, that genuinely care that you have decided to be with us for worship.

Every Sunday prior to our worship services, you’ll have a chance to engage with NLC members as we indulge in various refreshments. After you have a drink in hand be ready to connect with the NLC Family.

Your children will be greeted by a member of our Kidz Church team. From there, we will help you check your child in safely and securely.

We have classes (or nursery) for your children from newborn to 6th grade where your child will be taken care of, and ministered to, while you worship in the main sanctuary.  These classes feature both an age-appropriate setting and a Kidz Church environment.  The educational portion of our 90-minute time frame is where your child will be taught age-appropriate basic stories and principles from the Bible.  And then during the Kidz church portion, your children will experience a one-of-a-kind children’s worship experience like you will experience in the main sanctuary…but more kid-like, obviously.

We believe your children will grow in knowledge and experience in our children’s ministry.  Our Kidz Church team is always praying, learning and seeking God’s divine help when they minister to your children.  Our team believes that serving your children is more than a ministry, it’s a divine call from God that they have the privilege of being a part of and they take it seriously!

Expect for NLC to present an infusion of modern contemporary worship songs and black gospel in our worship sets.  You’ll see biblical forms of worship like lifted hands, clapping, and singing along with our worship choruses.  Feel free to join in or simply absorb our dynamic worship culture.

Each week, Pastor Chris brings an eclectic and engaging message delivered in a style that both inspires and provides practical application steps.  Audiences will be impacted by the energetic and passionate ministry of our lead pastor; a ministry that is both biblically sound and culturally relevant.

Our worship services typically last an hour and thirty minutes.  However, within that hour and 30 minutes, we strongly emphasize the work of the Holy Spirit so sometimes our service may go a few minutes longer as many lives are being changed by the operation of the Spirit as they stay longer to pray or as several decide to be baptized that day.  We believe streamlining our services is a way that gives us the best option to manage time and values as we connect with God, family, and friends.
